Hello all
Disaster has fallen upon Little Weldon, the up line has been closed.
Half of my trusty H & M Duette has stopped working. Now I have a dilemma is it still possible to get these controllers serviced and / or repaired. I don't really want to use it as it is now. If nothing can be done to repair it, has anybody for any suggestions for a replacement obviously I still wish to run DC.

PWM's - they may offer the control you desire at a very low cost if you have a DC output working and free.
Search for PWM controllers on the *bay. They're so cheap it's worth a try although delivery varies from supplier to supplier with some coming from China and others UK based (so they claim).

Hello all
First of all thank you for responding to my previous post Ian, I have decided to stick with what I know. I am now in the process of bidding for another Duette with a current pat test. Hopefully I shall win this auction.
Scenically Little Weldon is about to gain a ruined Castle. In order to accommodate this I have had to create an internal triangular sub baseboard upon which further earth works can be built.

Hello all
As part of the Castle project I have been experimenting with Linka. I assembled a panel using standard tiles from which I made a mould. For this I used Copydex which has resulted in a very flexible mould. I have now placed an order for some Latex and a thickening agent for the next ones.

I have temporarily placed the first ruined wall panel upon the top of the polystyrene hill to get a feel of how this is going to look.
