I think I need to get out more. Completed another wooden storage box, this time for my collection of router bits.
But the reorganisation of the workshop continues - a set of storage trays from Aldi has lead to me sorting all my wood screws by size.
I think I need to up my meds. :D

That bandsaw I bought at Christmas has to be the best tool in the workshop, but probably not the biggest! ;)

I had a mate who had the most incredible workshop full of beautiful boxes of assorted drills, cutters and all manner of gadgets. Trouble was he didn’t have a clue how to use any of them :D

I know how to use (most of) them.......and have the scars to prove it.

Tomorrow I may be risking my fingers making a cabinet for those boxes and have rescued my router table in case I am feeling ambitious or foolhardy - you decide. :D

It would never be described as ‘fine joinery’ but it works for my purposes. Two additional boxes and some knobs arrived this morning.

And having successfully resurrected my router table (and found somewhere accessible to store it ;) ) I may have to turn my attention to the junk that has migrated to the top shelf in the workshop.

Dare I say it! I bought another Merchant Navy Class the other day. Not an ebay purchase - I bought it from Clarke Trains - an off-shoot of Ellis Clarke Trains - described as "new" and paid about £50 less than the average ebay price. Sometimes it is worth looking around the dealers. It is Nederland Line 35014 and will become Belgian Marine 35017. Both loco's were based at Nine Elms in the eary sixties, so the shed code on the smoke box door is correct, and they both had the smaller (5000 gallon) tender.

No Steve - I have got a bit behind with the renaming/numbering programme - so another order will have to be made - but not until the one I'm waiting for arrives. Barry
