Coffee cups - paint a few cocktail sticks or bamboo skewers white then cut the tips off with a sharp blade.
Voila - mugs.

That's a good idea - I was wondering how to make the pattern on the top of the cappuccino's :lol: Did they have cappuccino's in the early sixties? I think the choice was black or white, with or without sugar?

A four finger version about 1.3 X 0.8mm. I know you can do it Barry. An analogue version will do.

When I was in the GPO we used to visit a cafe where a white coffee with no sugar was know as a Julie Andrews. Can you guess why?

Yes, late fifties coffee bars opening everywhere selling "frothy coffee" the forerunner of capocino I guess. I was taken to one in the west end of London where the tables were all coffin shaped and the walls draped with fake cobwebs, skeletons etc. It was called the Le Macabre (Google it).
