Great picture - that little hint of colour adds to the realism.

I gave the new static grass applicator a proper test today on the corner module at the end of the platform. I’ve also started adding the paving strips to define the rear edge of the platform where I also have some 3D printed LMS fencing to add. I will also add some wire fencing and do some airbrushing to blend it in.

Great pictures, Steve. The fencing makes a huge difference to the perspective.

I concur
Is that grass 4mm or 6mm?

Usual mix Barry. 2mm base, 4mm summer layered with 4mm dead. Then a light dust of yellow and red plus some prepared flower tufts.
My DIY static grass applicator’s first real test.
I’ve just ordered some stonewalling to go on the unfenced side of the road.

The last picture makes the road look as though it starts to drop down behind the fence - the fields in the background being lower than the road and railway. There is a narrow strip of board behind the fence, but probably not worth bothering with - may be a few bushes or trees?

The effect of the road disappearing over the hill is excellent. Brilliant modelling Steve………once again.
