Like yourself, I thought long and hard about the layout, plus designed 15 different ways to run my line on AnyRail, and still as I'm laying the track now I am making changes and tweaking. As each track goes down I am running coaches over the section to make sure there are no incidents, as well as as running the engine as each track is wired up (as I'm planning to have sections for running ITrain, each piece of track is being wired separately). At the same time I am thinking about scenery but apart from backdrops around the edges am waiting until the main tracks are all behaving themselves. I was told as a newbie to think, laydown track, test, and think even more but avoid scenery until the whole system is up and running. Good advice and more fun this way.!

Finally found a station that will fit and more or less look right. TBC in the kit forum - Spoiler Alert: May take months...
