Does that mean the TV will be football and nothing else. I wish TV channels would realise that football is a minority interest in that a greater percentage of people don’t watch it than do. And why do some of those people who only watch a major competition suddenly become experts on team choices and tactics. Think I’ll go and live somewhere isolated for the duration.

I second those feelings about football. Although my wife supports Sunderland and her spare room is decked out with shirts and pictures and all sorts of stuff. Cant stand football myself.

Why don't you non football fans chill out for once. World Cup comes round once every four years yet Wimbledon tennis is all over the BBC channels for two weeks EVERY year and i hate tennis! We all like different stuff so just live with it.

I agree TWD. I have nothing against the World Cup being televised, plenty of other channels to watch. Must admit I’d rather watch football on TV than Eastenders. :D
