Thanks for the suggestion Brian - it made fitting the remaining lights a lot easier.
Ten out of twelve worked first time so I had to remove the other two. One worked ok on the test bench so that will go back in tomorrow.
The other needed a replacement SMD LED - it took longer to find where I had stashed my spares than it did to fit!
Hopefully I will get it completed tomorrow.

Hi Steve,
Superb job as always!! Which lamps did you use in the end? And where did you get them?

Hi Ted, thanks for the comments. I found them here:

From what I have seen they are probably the last place that has any stock!

I refitted the two lamps but the one that works on the bench refuses to work on the layout. I’ve redone the wiring but I suspect the fine wire to the SMD has a break inside the lamp post itself. I’m consigning that one to the bin.
Also fitted a couple of LED filaments inside the buildings.

I will hopefully be able to fit a couple of wall mounted lamps to the building once I have found them online.

Great looking lamps and nicely painted too. When you find some wall mounted ones I’d be interested to know your source. The ones I recently bought are huuuge!!!

The scale of lamp heads always seems a bit ‘off’ Even the tops of these platform lamps appear to be a scale 6’ - but if made to scale they look too small.
I found some wall lamps on the same link I posted for Ted the other day. The gas version is slightly smaller than the oil lamps.

Aesthetically, there was something not quite right about platform 4 - too short and narrow as a result of being the inside platform on the curve.
I’ve put fencing along the edge of the platform and moved the lights to that side to turn it into a runaround loop. Visually it closes in the station area and now just needs some enamel advertising signs..........and some more fencing to finish off the other end - ran out halfway through.

Really enhances the platform and station area. Look good.
