Love how the buffer stop lights glint on the rails.
Cheers,

Thanks Chops and Artur - the buffer stop lamps reflecting on the rails proves I keep the track clean

Another addition for Wykeham shed
I couldn't resist it, R2710 Merchant Navy Class 35010 Blue Star. It will become 35003 Royal Mail - both loco's were shedded at Exmouth Junction (72A) in c.1961. This was an Ebay auction purchase - described as New Ex-Bankrupt Shop Stock. The loco looks new and the box is in mint condition but has sun-fade on one end flap. It took some very careful bidding to win - but final winning price was still considerably lower than Buy-it-Now models. The downside is that my wife opened the door to the postman - we are still talking

Only a few to go to complete the set.
Nice find Barry.

It really isn’t fair Barry, these locos appearing on eBay.

There is one more I have been watching for some months Brian, but the Buy-it-Now price is rather high (even for me
)- the price was reduced by £20 very recently, but still requires some serious thought.
I do actually now have thirty Steve , but two are Canadian Pacific, one in Blue as produced by Hornby and a Green one that was French Line and a recent purchase. I need to get a fairly serious order into Modelmaster Jackson-Evans so that the renaming and numbering can be completed.
I really need to get on with the static grass, but there appears to be a world shortage of aerosol layering spray at the moment.
My next job is to dirty-up the ground/track around the engine shed - I have the Hattons Oil Spill kit - so some work on the layout is being carried out - albeit slowly.

Hi Barry. Send the seller an offer just under what you wish to pay. Nothing ventured and all that.
I have done it. You may be surprised with the answer.

Hi Glencairn - Yes I may try that. Trouble is I can't have too many parcels arriving
. I don't get too much flak - but I am actually running out of space when it comes to storage. I do have a number of loco's that I bought years ago - seemed a good idea a the time, but if I am honest, I don't really need them. I have a Flying Scotsman Set I bought twenty years ago - loco, four coaches, track, Trackmat and controller. It sat in the corner of my office in London for years and now sits in the corner of my railway room - it is never going to be used - I even bought all of the Track Packs C,D and E (A & B came with the set) - but you get attached to these things even if you are not using them. I really do need to have a serious look at what I have and what could go. Barry
