Progress has slowed while glue, paint and plaster are drying - but I have chopped down some wagons for the ore drop.

Airbrushed the oily black onto the new section leading to the engine yard. Building up the layers of texture and colour with ballast, fine plaster and three shades of black and brown. Real ash and other scatters to follow.

And I have just seen a ‘messy’ bit of track planning alongside all those nice shiny new points - guess I’ll be ripping that bit up later.

Revised trackplan. There is now a more direct run to the turntable and the awkward crossover at the front of the yard had gone. Two of the three point motors will be repositioned tomorrow and the ballast patched ready for repainting.
