I'm using Gaugemaster PM20 motors throughout, except 1 which is a SEEP PM1 under the board.

On the crossing in question, one point has a PM20 and the other a PECO PL11 as I had this spare and it saved me buying another PM20.

Same principle applies. Try red to red and black to black or red to black, black to red. I believe green is the common wire on these motors.

I already tried both scenarios. Neither throw both points at the same time.

Are you using a capacitor discharge unit CDU?

Yes built into the panel. The motors throw perfectly when wired separately but not when linked together.

You must be doing something wrong, you’re not using the Peco CDU are you? I never had a problem throwing two sets of points.

Not a peco CDU as far as I know. I will try again tomorrow.

One possibility... I was using scraps of wire obtained free on my previous layout. I had an issue with point solenoids as they seemed a little weak. I found the issue as the points concerned had wires which were a bit thin to handle the current. (Old telephone cable or something similar). I doubled up each wire by using two and it was problem solved. The points threw well with or without using a CDU.
I only mention it incase it may be a possible solution. Could some wires be too thin to handle the current? Could a thicker wire only just be touching a terminal by a few strands etc.

Still no luck with wiring 2 points via 1 switch but I'll keep at it until I succeed

On a brighter note (no pun intended), I have now wired in 90% of the 12v lamps plus a simulated arc welder in one of the industrial buildings. The chap who made my point control panel also made me a lighting panel.

If I can capture all this on my camera, I'll post some shots.
