Apologies for being many months late with my reply. No excuses, just not been on here much. A simple on-off switch coild go on the red wire. It serves to break the power supply thats all. Electronics experts on here might be able to advise further. Again, sorry for being late. Thanks for any help.IanLMS wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 12:34 pmI have attached a diagram but not sure if it helps much. Much better to follow his first edition video where he used a simple slide switch.twalton1145 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 11, 2019 4:59 pm
Hi Ian,
I used the same guide but bought the 6 way switch he suggested and am scared to wire it up! If you have used a simple on-off switch, could you please let me know how you wired it?
TIA

Do you really mean a 6 way switch or a switch with 6 connections (tabs)?? If the latter, then simply use one middle tab on the switch and the same sides lower (Or top) tab. This then give On/Off operation.twalton1145 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 6:44 pm Thanks for replying - all the bits are still in a cardboard box awaiting final assembly!
Pleased with my initial construction, then fell at the final hurdle - just can't get my head round the electrics

My first attempt at making some roofing, using a pie casing, some carpet strip and some grey primer.Steve M wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 2:26 pm I posted something similar some time ago - an off cut from a doorstrip/carpet edge.
