Charlie Marston's Scrap Yard has been given a huge makeover. It now has a 'touch of Dai Woodham'. The level crossing has been moved to give a bigger area for the Yard. The Marston's house has been moved and a new entrance and fencing planned.

I just have to 'tidy things up'

More to come.

There would be trouble at Sovereign Street if I actually did that. :lol:

Most enjoyable photographs. Are those irises? The scrap yard is magnificently done;
a requiem to a by gone era.

Thanks again, Chops. Glad you like the pictures.

I have been busy trying to finish the area around the scrap yard. Hope to post some photos tomorrow.

New 'cobbles' laid at the entrance to Marston's yard and house. New 'lawn s at the house.

I love weathered items, so this scrap yard is just up my street, nice modelling

Chops. I missed your question. No they are not Irises. They are mine. :lol: To be honest I do not know what they are, but a lot of shops here are selling them. They are a plastic ball and come in mainly green in colour. The one I bought was purple. Pull the plastic flowery leaves from the frame and a touch of paint; flowers.

Thanks for your comments, jaz.

Now I can add old railway items that are 'past their best' and still look okay. :lol:
