That’s my point. It is allegedly the most famous steam loco in the world. If you want to see it you either have to join thousands at a heritage railway where you are lucky to get near it, or see it for 10 seconds as it rushes past on the main line. Should be on a plinth where you can wander around it and on it at your leisure.

You are right (to a point) off course WTD. Have it on a plinth 'up here'. I'd never see it if it was in London. (Never go there.)

Then you have the 'steam buffs' who want to see engines in steam. There begins the argument. (Not me though. :lol: )

Leave her (static) in the NRM and restore Green Arrow for railtours etc . Far more sensible idea!! :shock:
