Same here - I think you need a heater in the shed Steve - much to cold to work outside - even in the shed.

Too cold for me in my integral double garage as well! :o
Cant afford to heat the garage space as its really a wasted space for heating!
So I have moved some things into the main house study room. But the main baseboards and all stock remain out in the cold garage! ;) ;)

I count myself as the founder member of a new arm of the hobby - ‘Xtreme OO modelling’. Going to need crampons and an ice axe to get down there soon.

Up here in Scotland minus 7 is just a bit invigorating. :D Great for Kilts.

Warmer weather has made the shed a little more welcoming. I started painting some 3D printed ground signals from West Hill Wagon Works, bought as a trial at Warley - I now have four more packs on order!
I finally got round to looking at the A1/3 from the Hornby sale - worked fine on DC but DCC revealed a soldering error on the socket. Quickly fixed and now ready for running in.
I am a great believer in the 'it will arrive when it's ready' school of thought regarding postal times but this last two weeks have tried my patience. I ordered some small detailing parts for the shed - nothing important - and the tracking app showed them arriving at the local sorting centre last Friday. The app shows them still sitting there, four days later, less than a mile down the road from my house.
Meanwhile Amazon delivered three items within 21 hours of ordering - Royal Mail is just an embarrassment these days.

Royal Mail is a joke at the moment. I posted off two items on Monday last week both sent by Tracked 24 wth signature. First one arrived last Friday, not too bad since there was a strike on WednesdayThursday. But the other one says delivery due 28th December - 20 working days after posting!!!

If I was King Charlie I would strip them of the "Royal" bit!

You are lucky seeing delivery date at all. Items I ordered for presents which were posted RM tracked said nothing about delivery dates only time posted and left the rest to your imagination. One item I posted 10 days ago has vanished completely.
