trying to reduce the size of my avatar to fit within the site requirements but currently struggling to get the small size needed, any help please would be gratefully received.
Re: avatar
I am using paint but can only get the file to 22kb, anything down to 6kb you can't see it!

Re: avatar
I have tried to reduce it as a gif but it still won't work for me, it pixilates beyond recognition.
LC&DR says South for Sunshine
Re: avatar
If it is a photo, then .JPG will normally be the best choice but for drawings then .PNG or .GIF should be best.
@Flashbang
Any chance of increasing the avatar size? 90 x 90 pixels is pretty restrictive.

Re: avatar
To reduce an image I used http://resizeimage.net/
For the avatar where the size is small I set the size to 90px width, found the height was too high so changed the height to 90px keeping the aspect ratio. This worked and gave me one I wanted.

Re: avatar
I'll up it to 150 x 150 and see what happens, if that's too big then it will have to come down.
Edit now set at 150 x 150
