I have a broken wire on a Hornby loco which needs replacing, it’s the connection between the engine and the tender, anybody know where I can get this done? I’m based in North West Kent.
Thanks

I don't live in that area but some do (Who can advise where to take it). From what you describe it is normally a relatively simple repair so you should find someone local who can do it. Is there a model railway club where tallented people can have a look?

None of the local model shops that I know of in the area offer a repair service. It would help if you could identify the loco and model number so we can advise further.

I had this problem with a Hornby Schools class. Hornby said send it in and they'll do it and didn't charge me! Worth giving them a call.

North west Kent, probably worth a day out to the Hornby Visitors Centre and take it with you for repair.

That’s over 120 miles round trip - cheaper to post it.

I’ve used Howes models in Oxford and also Hornby in the past for repairs and found both very good.
