Hello all,

Just to say hello. Im a bit of a rarity in that I am a pre grouping nut who is also in the process of creating a freelanced company with its own history, locomotive designs and rolling stock.

Welcome. I would be in the same catagory if I didn't love diesels as well. The earlier years tend to be easier to freelance as they are outside of most peoples memory so give one an almost free reign to explore the concept.

You may seem to be on the fringes, but a few of us are into freelancing. (I hear the gasps from some! Haha!) A great welcome from me anyway. I prefer 7mm narrow gauge as the ideal platform for both scratchbuilding and freelancing. Though I have several unmade loco kits, I have four locos made up. One is a diesel. The others are steam. Some need finishing off though.

Welcome on board, bazzmund.

Looking forward to seeing your layout. My layout , Steam Trains to Sovereign Street, is of a freelance style in OO Gauge.

Phew that's a relief - for a moment I though Bazzmund just followed rock groups around
