I plan to install Dapol motorised switches on my layout.
I know that I need push to make switches - I understand the principle of this. I may be being dim (this is a common occurrence) but is there a peco lever switch that will perform this function - obviously they need to be different to the passing contact levers.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Push to make switches
Maplin used to be a decent source of push-to-make switches before its demise, though did tend to be pricey. Best source now is somewhere like eBay. Here is an example but there are many many more:

Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician
Re: Push to make switches
Lever switches tend to be ON-OFF or Passing contact, but not sprung to OFF.
You can use a simple SPST sprung to off ((ON)-OFF) switch if you prefer a toggle rather than a push button. Used to be popular in older (my generation) cars to flash a bank of hi-power spot lights when dazzled by oncoming traffic.
Push buttons are available in press to make or press to break variants.
Push buttons are available in various qualities from cheap and cheerful form to very, very pro versions, some with ‘lift to arm’ covers.
PS I miss Maplins - their new on-line re-emergance is just not Maplins in my opinion.

Re: Push to make switches
Having read the OP again, does he mean Dapol motorised signals (semaphores) which I believe work on a press-press-press methodology to change state.
Re: Push to make switches
Apologies not been here this week as busy at work.
I made a typo - dapol motorised signals is what I meant.

Hi
You can use the Peco PL26 passing contact lever. Connect one Yellow wire to the middle tab. Link both outer tabs together and connect the other Yellow wire to one of the outer tabs along with the link wire.
