T3 Restoration Appeal

One of the preserved railways I signed up to is the Swanage Line.

The latest e newsletter gave details of the restoration of a T3 appeal where they need to raise £350,000 to bring the loco fully back to full steaming order in only 2 years. It helps that it has been stripped down to a pile of parts so they could get idea of the the loco's condition which appears to be ok for it to run again.

I think it will be an interesting restoration to follow.
