Any strip lights that I have used have always included the correct fixings in the package. Cable clips can be bought as required. Same with 3 pin plugs and suitable cable or flex.

When I refitted the shed, I used similar to these:

I think he is referring to strips of LED's not the LED 'tube' lights. Could be wrong.

If looking for strips of LEDS, I used screwfix - they include driver, plug and the strips have an adhesive backing.

I bought a 5m roll from Llidl years ago. About a fiver. They are being diverted from layout use to the new kitchen my good lady has just ordered to bling it up a bit.
