I am not sure if I am in the right place to post this request.
My father made this loco when he was a young man way before I was born,he learnt his skill from his father who also made his own locos. They were all in O gauge. My father in his later years stripped the paint off to re paint but it was one of those jobs that never got done before he passed away. Does any one out there know what class of loco it is and what colour livery it should be. If this request is successful i have two other trains, another of my fathers and one of my grandfathers that I will need some information on at a later date.
Thank you
Puddles

County tanks. The origional counties were 4-4-0's. The county tanks were the tank engined versions of the origional counties. I believe it was somewhere around 1945 or thereabouts when the 4-6-0 counties were made. The origional counties which were the 4-4-0's were built around 1904 onwards and I believe the class was scrapped before the new 4-6-0 counties were built.
County tanks were made from a similar date to the 4-4-0 counties.
