Well that was exhilarating - I feel as though I have been through a car wash and then on fast spin. R-

thats the beauty of 3 acres. Tuppence, our dog, walks herself. Has an affiliation with the cows.

I’ll second that Roger. Exhilarating describes it perfectly.
Thing is John, walking the dog is good exercise. No point in having a dog if it walks itself.

Wish I could walk the dog(s) tomorrow morning, but sadly today we had to make that heart wrenching decision to put to sleep Daisy our 14 year old Basset Hound.......she was the loveliest dog from the first day to last, but she had just had enough and it was time for her to rest.
Been through this a few times over the years and it never gets any easier, but at least we still have Tim our 4 year old Basset, who has been somewhat over-hugged during this difficult day.

Sorry to hear that HD. A situation we also have been in many times and, sadly it seems, about to face again. Maisie goes for MOT shortly so will see if it is anything other than arthritis etc. R-
