Does anybody know if a kit is available of a wagon with a mounted crane similar ish to the one in the photo. I’ve googled myself to death looking for one.

This is about the closest you will get Brian, just needs a bit of extra work, the wagon underneath it looks like RTR type. https://www.mikes-models.co.uk/index.ph ... etail.html or https://www.track-shack.com/acatalog/Pe ... gKpevD_BwE

Brian, with a bit of kit bashing you may be able adapt the Wills SS51 kit. Add a plasticard frame and counterbalance to the back, maybe shorten the gib and mount on a suitable rtr wagon.
I think I may have chopped one around to put inside my goods shed at some point.

Thanks one and all. I have a couple of the Wills cranes on my layout. Think I will get one and shorten the jib and add a few bits.

Here is my Peco LK-35 yard crane which could be another alternative to kit bash for your project, but the jib would need to be shortened somewhat. Mine is ground based and powered by a servo motor.
