Pure Fiction

My layout is pure fiction!!! I run what I like and build what i like, :) the station names and town names are areas my family and I have lived over the years. Nothing makes sense to the purists!!
I have one continuous line for high speed intercity, one for intercity and local with sidings to bring various trains into play and one branch line, just there and back.
Most of my stock is 1980’s Class 52’s, Deltic’s, Class 50’s and HST’s (Lima & Hornby)most work well. Over the years I have added loco’s that I like rather than to any running plan, but who cares!!!
I was an electrician in my youth with CIE, Irish Railways, before a career change and eventual move to England so I have a CIE GM Class 181 and coaches to run and am awaiting a Class 121 B125 in CIE black and tan livery to arrive soon. The grandchildren shake their heads when I excitedly say I worked on them

Anyway, I have added a few photos and am never finished building …….

Well, when you asked me what make the taxi is I had to do a bit of research, didn't keep the box!! I think you are right but I found a Vauxhall Cresta on the Oxford Models website which is remarkably similar to the model I have. Similar vintage....

Anything goes with me but I "try" and keep to within a given period just to help me not to buy everything.

I reckon your right, it's one of them, Cresta or Velox. Lovely cars. R-

After taking photos, you see areas that need attention, better get to it. I have been experimenting with making my own trees and they are going well. Progressing with the upper level that is a simple A - B, but one line I am fitting an auto reverse, for good old Thomas and friends but also a test track. Again, I emphasize 'Pure Fiction' and thank you for looking, Pat
