I sat and watched a woman (in the grey Corsa) end up like this. To make her parking even worse, when she was trying to get her car into the bay, the silver Vectra wasn't parked...that bay was empty.
When she finished parking, she walked away as if nothing was wrong !

In 'our neck of the woods' if you park on or over the line you get a parking ticket fine. You do not know about it until a letter arrives in the post, complete with a photograph of your offending car.

Usual state of affairs round here.

This was someone trying to get into the car park at work just last night.

The National Sport in France, appears to be to see who can park the closest to your car. The car park, can be almost empty, but somebody arrives and parks so close, you can barely open your door. Seems to be the Herd instinct. Whatever car park you choose, most times there is a car, with a damaged mirror, either hanging off, or with no glass.

In Cyprus no one would walk anywhere. They drive from shop to shop and park outside on the path.

My neighbour was filling his car with rubbish bags one day and I thought he is going to drop them off on his way out. Wrong - he drove the 50 metres down to the bins and back again.
