Hi all,
I am looking for a Black Hornby Stanier tender from a 8F or a Black 5. It needs to be the non motored version as used with Loco drive versions of the above locomotives. I want to couple it to a non motor drive 8F to make a non motored loco to tow dead in a train.
Would prefer the Hornby version but would consider the Bachmann versions from Rebuilt Scot, Rebuilt Patriot or Jubilee, provided they were black!
Many thanks
Paul

May I ask do you have a tender drive 8f loco which you want to use to tow or double head. If so why dount you just remove gears from the tender motor so it free wheels. If you want to change it back you just put the gears back in place.Tallpaul70 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 6:23 pm Hi all,

What's wrong with painting a Bachmann one?
