Useful Tools

Whilst wandering around TK Maxx this afternoon with Mrs Hound Dog, I spied the following for sale and thought this would be useful somewhere on the layout, especially perhaps as an uncoupling tool...….at £3.99 for the pack is seemed to good to pass and I can confirm that the 90 degree and 45 degrees picks are ideal for lifting tension lock couplings in-situ.

As with all things at TK Maxx, I don't know if this is a one-off or something that can be found in other store or elsewhere...….Rolson p/n 59133.

I bought a similar set a while ago at either LIDL or Aldi. They have multiple uses.

I'm tempted, for the job you're describing, unhooking of tension lock couplings, to go with a spoon from McD's supplied with ice cream flurries. Less chance of sticking myself with the pointed ends!
