A Joeuf Piece Pressed into UK Rail Service

One of the advantages to modeling Stateside is that most blokes don't know British rail from
Outer Mongolia; anything with buffers is from "over there," so I get quite a bit of artistic
license. This Joeuf viewing coach will be pressed into service on "Chops's Rail Tours," which
features tours for those wishing to catch a glimpse of the Loch Ness Monster. The passengers
are 1/100 scale, so the fit better than their 1/87 counterparts. I was concerned the garish
oranges and pinks would look awful, but in fact, it just makes them slightly more noticable,
and not the feared detraction.

The railway on the island of Mauritius used these double deck trains quite a lot. Here is a commercial postcard which shows a typical train.

The railway was opened in 1864 and closed in 1964.

More spooferosity regarding the hunt for the elusive Loch Ness Monster.
