Totally converted to n gauge

#1

Post by wellwhynot »

Having been running oo gauge on a six by four foot layout I went to the Doncaster exhibition in January and was impressed by some n gauge layouts so I thought I would give it a go . I have just finished my new six by three foot layout and think with buildings etc it looks more realistic. OO gauge looks far to big on a small layout. I am totally converted so if you have limited space go n gauge

It's what N gauge is for. Making a lovely scene in a limited space. Yes, each scale and gauge has plus points and minus points, and we all weigh up what suits us the best.
I have gone to a larger scale but ideal for shorter trains with sharp curves... But it is what works for you. :) I actually like all trains but I prefer the ones I am using now as it suits my requirements and my budget better.
Budget modelling in 0-16.5...
