Aldi small drills offer

Post by Tricky Dicky »

Aldi are selling a 41 piece drill set this Sunday 17th May 2020. They should be of interest for modellers as they are all small drills ranging from 0.6mm to 2.5mm all for £5.99.

Can they be purchased on line. Don’t fancy queuing to find they’re all gone? :)

Yes WTD you can buy online but you need to spend £20 to get free delivery, don’t know how much delivery will be for an individual item.

Not bad.

Must admit I have always found that it is worth buying quality drill bits. Bought a cheap set from Axminster Tools a few years ago, they even gad trouble drilling balsa :D

Its the fact that they are tiny drills. All my sets have quarter inch plus, but lack diddy ones. The other set is for my lad. I did not know Aldi, would deliver. Means i can buy and my lad can post on, if i want owt. I understand you get what you pay for, but i have a Black and Decker drill sharpener, so can spruce them up if necessary.

They’re too small to sharpen successfully.
