Code 75 or code 100?

I’m starting a small shunting yard layout. About half of the track will be ‘buried’ up to rail level. Is there any point using code 75 instead of sticking to code 100? It will be set in the 1950s using diesel shunters but the track will have been laid many years before in the steam era. The overall idea is a run down wagon repair shed linked to a small engineering works. Also, should I use small radius points as only 0-6-0 shunters will be used including old steam stock (ie Pecketts). Thank you for your help - as always much appreciated.

As you say it wont matter if your burying the track, 1st radius should be ok at shunting speed.

Hi
Seems to me a waste to use Code 75 buried!

If using Code 75 then your points will be Streamline and small radius will be fine
With Code 100 rail you can use Setrack or Streamline points. Setrack is a much smaller turnout radius than Streamline
