I looked at both parts and there wasn’t a single thing that caught my eye. I think I must have peaked. Have to wait until next century.

I have purchased a few small items from the sale list.Due to P&P costs I need to buy a few things to make it worthwhile.Parcel Van and some wagons.I have had nothing but good experiences when purchasing from Hattons and couple of other On line stores.Due to my location it is my only method of buying new stock.Once or twice a year I travel to my NEAREST , yes NEAREST,model shop only 3500km away from my home. You can't beat seeing new products on shelves or in cabinets and being able to pick up and handle items for a close inspection. If you are lucky enough to have a local model shop, closer than 3500km away, enjoy visiting and supporting them as much as you can.It would be a shame to lose these.

Keef, agree. I live in the middle of rural France, with no model shop within a 50 mile radius. I have used Hattons, until they changed their delivery agent. He will not deliver to my village (DHL). Have discussed with Hattons, but they are contracted to DHL.

Is there no one in the UK you could get them delivered to who could then forward them on by another means? I know it means extra cost, but depending on the initial savings it might be worth it.
You could always send them to me and I'll forward them on - honest guvnor

I live in the middle of nowhere in France and I ordered a lot of things from Hatton's without any issue. The French Post delivered all my parcels in my mailbox or directly in my hands. I never used DHL.

I had no choice, only DHL offered. I would be very happy to have delivery by colissimo. Chrono post won’t deliver to me either. When a parcel arrives in France, there are 3 options, you are not consulted, parcels are divided equally between la poste, DPD and chronopost. That is the system. I know as I have spoken to all 3 head offices. Hattons have à returns system using DHL, as well. Believe me, I have tried. Spoken to Hattons boss, as well. You can’t buy flexi track, as now neither UK post or French, will accept, due to length. Taint easy

I looked at a few things but wasn't impressed. For example, Hornby's rebuilt Merchant Navy 35030 reduced from £136 to £129. Not a big reduction and all it does is match the current price at Rails of Sheffield ….
