Ready Built baseboards and kits

Hi guys, I am currently taking down my layout in order to build a new one more suitable to the space available. Now when I say build.....lets just say my carpentry skills have deteriorated somewhat with the passing of the years. So I am seriously considering buying ready made boards or those that come in kit form for self assembly.
I've been doing some on-line research and it seems there are quite a few companies out there, though some have suspended business in the current lockdown situation. One company I am drawn to is
https://www.whiterosemodelworks.co.uk/. So does anybody have any experience good or bad with these, or indeed, any other baseboard supplier. Many thanks.
Terry

Being similarly challenged in the carpentry department I got mine
here - as they are fairly close enabling me to collect. Very well made, simple to put together and worth the money in my view. At the moment the SHOP part of their website is closed. Maybe bookmark it? R-

My club wanted seven 4 ft x 2 ft baseboards on fold up legs for our new OO exhibition layout. All UK manufacturers including WR could not produce anything until either later this year or early next year and that was in early February BEFORE a lock-down happened.
We eventually placed an order with a Irish builder - Model Rail Baseboards who said they could deliver within 10 weeks from placing an order. Of course the Covid-19 virus has stopped these being produced or delivered for the time being!

Thanks Roger, that was one of the sites I looked at.

Thanks Brian, I saw that Irish builder too but wondered about UK delivery. White Rose are saying they have stock of some of the standard sizes but I may need a non-standard. Still havent decided on a track layout yet but planning ahead in case of a long lead time.

I bought my boards - as kits - from MRS as RogerB did. They are first class. I built a 6x2 board in one hour. Possibly not the cheapest, but very solid once complete. I think White Rose might be MDF - they were when I watched a promo-video sometime ago - again well built and solid. The choice is yours, but as has been said, I expect there may be delays due to the current situation. Some companies may have "basic" modules available. BB

Thank you guys for your input. Judging by the number of replies I'm guessing that there isnt a great deal of interest on the subject on this forum. This is quite understandable given the greater cost of buying these items against making them yourself.
As a forthcoming birthday treat to myself, I have just ordered two baseboard kits from White Rose Modelworks and been given a max. 4 week waiting time. In my extensive research over the past few days I havent been able to find any in-depth independant reviews of this type of product anywhere on the net so I thought I might try and redress the situation by making a short video on unboxing (for WTD
) and my own experience of the build process for the forum. That is if there is enough interest.

Thanks BB. I've seen that same video from WR which is quite old (they have been going for quite some time now) and the current material used is 9mm Birch Ply.

I don't know how you will gauge "enough interest" as a lot of folk read posts without comment. I would like to see what you get and think about it. R-

I’ll watch it just don’t take 45 minutes to open the box with the camera mounted on a pogo stick
