O scale (1:43) narrow gauge parts?

I am an American modeler in the USA with an American-themed layout. However, as part of the National Model Railroad Association's Master Model Railroader program (https://www.nmra.org/master-model-railroader) I am working on scratchbuilding some cars. Seven of the Eight will be American prototypes, but since each of the cars is personal for me the last one I wanted to build will be British narrow gauge. I am thinking of a Welsh freight wagon, or perhaps the Isle of Manx Railway.

I don't want to build in 16mm as that is too big. I was hoping for O scale, which is 1:43 for you guys (1:48 for us), but have no idea if anyone supplies parts in this scale. I don't mind scratchbuilding most of it, but commercial axleboxes would be great. Can anyone recommend a source?

I bought a Sylmasta resin casting kit and I copied old Triang cast metal axleboxes from coach bogies. The work well with top hat bearings and 10.5mm or slightly smaller wheels. To use 12.5mm wheels, the bottom of the axleboxes need packing up underneath to gain a little extra height. The holes in the metal axleboxes were filled in and the old Triang bogie was cut so I ended up with two bogie sides to copy.
The moulds were made, and then I cast new parts out of resin which can also be cut if required to use for longer wheelbase waggons.
If you are tempted to make moulds from resin parts (To get a copy of a copy), be aware that resin floats, so that the will float to the top of the moulding compound, so one has to glue or stick them somehow in the moulding container so that they don't do this. I make single part moulds as it is easier and the moulds last longer then making two part moulds.
