Earlier this year Hornby announced they would be launching a range of paints in dropper bottles which tend to be much more economical in use.
While at the HVC I noticed that they now have them in stock, priced at £1.79 each.

Had a nice chat with Simon Kohler while I was there. Amongst other things he mentioned that Chinese production has been largely unaffected by the pandemic as the factories just worked harder to catch up when they reopened.

I’ve been using the dropper bottles for a couple of months now Steve, mainly the primer, excellent idea.

I hadn’t seen them anywhere (not that many modelshops round here seem to have been open).
From the display it looks like a repackaging of the standard Humbrol range - makes sense.

I’ll have a look next time I’m in Maidstone (nearest Hobbycraft). Neither of my local model shops are particularly good for choice and when I was on holiday my usual haunts were closed to visitors.
In fact TMC were offering a ‘click and collect’ service which I tried to take advantage of as I was staying just down the road. Trouble was, they posted my loco to me instead. Fortunately the Post Office redelivery service worked (although their web pages did not fill me with confidence).
