RAILWAY TOTEM FOR MIMIC BOARD

Can anybody point in the right direction on how to print my own totem to go on my mimic board/control panel please?
I have been up and down the internet and cannot find what I am looking for - I would like to print something small in the correct colour and shape with the station name to go above or below the A4 size track plan. A simple templet would do the job if one exists.

Design it in a drawing software package. Many packages are free - Google them. The forums logo is an example of self design.
Once saved as a .JPG or other format. Print and use

Something like this? This is done in Publisher. Search google images for samples, save and change to suit your own. Windows Snipping tool is handy and maybe Photoshop or similar.
