Hi Guys, what to you gents use to protect buildings that have been weathered using dry powders? I've seen guys using aerosols in videos but don't know what are the best to buy/use. I want a flat matt finish. Has to be in spray can. Thanks.

Terry I just use the powder. After a while it appears to dry out and doesn’t come off on you fingers. I have never sprayed anything on it. Building are hardly likely to be handled much once in situ.

Hello TWD,
If you do want to use a spray then "Media Range UV protection spray" will do the job. I print my buildings onto paper and use the spray I tried all sorts of things to stop the water from the glue when I put that ground cover stuff capillaring up the paper. This was the only one that would do it.
It also stops the inks from fading for years.
Cheers - J

Thanks Jim, just had a quick look at this and it seems to be aimed at printed surfaces, which as you say is what you use it for. Could not see any reference to dry powder or chalk sufaces.

Make sure if you do spray with aerosol that it does not fog up the windows what ever medium you use Terry

Thanks for tip Dave. Actually I won't mind fogging up the windows as its an engine shed. Will go along with WTD's advice for now as it's the cheapest option
