Hi Wasp - I think most of us on the forum use Peco track. It comes in either Code 100 which is compatible with Hornby and Bachmann track or Code 75 which is Finescale and may not be suitable for older Hornby/Bachmann models - the actual height of the rail is smaller and if you have a deep flange on the loco wheels they can ride up and derail on points. Safe bet would be Code 100 - the Peo range is greater than Hornby/Bachmann track. BB

Presumably the enquiry is down to what is locally available; both are code 83 as is the majority of HO track systems so finer than Code 100 but not as fine as Code 75- Peco also do Code 83 predominately for the USA market. Looking at images of the points the Piko ones seem to have quite large dead frogs while the Trix C track has a metal frog which can either be dead or powered (by I believe a built in switch) That latter option would swing the choice IMO to the Trix system.
