Class 50 has not been used for at least two years. Got it out and on the very slowest speed it judders, worse in one direction. It was OK when put away.
DCC sound fitted.
Any ideas please.

Welcome to the forum.

Have you cleaned the wheels and pickups thoroughly.

In addition, after two years of inactivity a very light lubrication wouldn't hurt.
Don't over do it though, just a micro tiny spot of special model railway lubrication and never use spray lubricants such as WD40 or too thick oils like 3 in 1.

Thanks for the reply. First thing I did was to lubricate. I'll try cleaning wheels

TBH a suitable Zimo or Lenz standard won't be beaten! They are just a couple of £s more, if at all? :D Typically a Zimo is around £20 or £2.00 difference!
