Diamonds are for Never

To give a bit of purpose to my train's activities, there are two diamond crossings that keep operators lively when it comes to dispatching traffic. Ideally, passenger trumps freight, but if freight sneaks in there early, what's a lad to do?

Good idea. Been meaning to do that for a while, but never seem to get to it. Any ideas for a general sort of template?
