Spent a glorious sunny lotus track day at Goodwood with some of my petrol head buddies.
Any one from the forum there today?

Went to Goodwood a few years back, got a track day birthday gift to drive a DB5, E Type and classic Porsche 911.

The DB5 was an interesting drive and I was excited at driving it but the E Type completely blew me away, what an inedible car it is.
The classic Porsche Carrera was planted, even managed an overtake down at the final chicane.

Though not been to Goodwood for the revival it still remains at fantastic track. I currently watch many many motorsport series and I am a serious petrol head. F1, Indycars, BTCC, DTM, Nascar Sprint Cup, Aussie Supercars, IMSA, MotoGP, WSBK, W Series, WTCR.

Good stuff Puddles :D

"what an inedible car". Must admit I couldn’t eat a whole one :)

I envy you driving the E type. I’m not a car enthusiast but sure would like to drive one of those.

I've never been to Goodwood - but regularly watch the racing on YouTube - the sixties saloon and GT racing is much better than what you see today.

I drove an E-Type once - a 4.2 Coupe - I thought the steering felt light - also drove an Aston Martin DB6 Vantage several times - now that was something else.

If you like E-Types take a look at the latest offering - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VTAQHvblAc
