Evening all, what's the best glue for them Wills kits..? Have a bridge one which seems to be the wrong sort of plastic for the old Airfix kind of glue.

I use Slaters Mek-Pak. Seems to work well with most plastics.

Comes in a bottle and is applied with a brush.

Slaters Mek Pak or EMA Plastic Weld are both great thin liquid solvents, applied with a small artist type brush.
They work by melting the two plastics to form a solid bond.

Thanks for that...

NMMS looks set to get more of my hard-earned folding stuff then.

The brush will set hard after a few hours after you have finished using it but as soon as you dip it into the glue the next time it goes soft. I couldn’t remember the name of EMA Plastic Weld that Brian mentioned but that is just as good.

Has anyone figured how to stop the fine metal tube from blocking up on Revell plastic glue? The tubes internal diameter is so fine its very hard (impossible?) to find anything solid that will pass through the tube and clear a hardened glue blockage.

Just purchased a bottle of EMA Plastic Weld solvent from an Amazon supplier. The posting box was about 12 x 12 inches square and some 6 inches deep. After removing a vast quantity of foam sponge, a small bottle appeared in view! :o

I used to leave a length of fuse wire in the tube Brian. Seemed to work.
