A Prototypical End To End Layout Idea.

I saw this short film of a boilerless loco and I was admiring it being shunted back and fore in its old industrious setting which is being used as an interesting preserved railway and I thought of what a lovely end to end model it would make! I have not seen it for real, but maybe some of you have. It was the track layout and the brick buildings which make one think "Metcalfe" and "End to End" that had my imagination going.

Stop MG. Don’t tempt me - I’ve already got 3 projects on the go. As you said, would make an interesting project. Now, where is that O gauge brochure I’ve been perusing?

It would be ideal for 0 gauge or 00 gauge in a small space. The "Y" shaped track layout design where one branch of the Y can dissapear out of view behind the backscenes is ideally suited for an easily transportable small end to end layout.
