I was out for a walk along our local road, which is a minor road, and there was an are an where things had been dumped and most of it has been cleared up. However a bit of perspex with a small sign on it had us puzzled.
I had to add the picture as I doubt you lot would believe me if I typed it.

Golf.

Indeed. Don’t walk along the fairway up to your ball but along the rough. I’ve seen that on a few golf courses and I don’t even play.

Probably because the ground is waterlogged.

Some signs look very odd out of context.

So it is the local golfcorse who keeps dumping rubbish by the side of the road...

That may be the case MG or some muppet pinched it.

I was given a photocopy of a sign that read.... "The floggins and beatings will continue until morale improves"

I saw an interesting sigh outside a pub yesterday.
