Telegraph poles
Does anyone know how far apart telegraph poles are along the track? I was just doing some planing and wondered how many i would need.
Re: Telegraph poles
On BR they were approx 60-65 yds apart, but the actual distance can vary on location.

Re: Telegraph poles
I found that a scale 65 yards can look wrong on a layout. You will be best to space them so they look right.
Nurse, the screens!
Re: Telegraph poles
On my web page linked, I recommend for OO around 400-450mm apart or less.Walkingthedog wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 4:18 pm I found that a scale 65 yards can look wrong on a layout. You will be best to space them so they look right.
