Hi Does any one know how old this loco is approx 32-028 class 20 D8134
I have the option at £ 70 is it to dear ?

According to this it appears to be a 2003 model, so anything up to 19 years old……. However 8 pin DCC so still capable of being fitted with sound etc.
I would check out ebay etc to compare prices.

It is highly likely that a loco that old will not have lights, even though it is 8 pin DCC ready it probably won't have a compartment for the speaker which means butchering the battery boxes to fit a speaker.
At 70 quid I would shop around for a newer model that will have space inside allocated for a speaker.
If you happy using with no lights and no facility to fit a speaker easily should you not want sound either I would knock them down a bit.
Personally I would leave alone but then again I'm not a fan of the Class 20 myself.

Also 'love' how this ebay seller is duping potential buyers!!
Even though states no box he is clearly depicting the loco on the newer retail packaging. IMO clearly wrong.
