I saw the announcement for this yesterday. I have been thinking about getting moving properly into diesel age for a while, and I am very tempted by this. It would have to be the DCC sound version though, if only to be able to say I had a wheel flange squeal sensor.

Yes - I will likely place an order for one of these fitted with sound - trying to decide to go BR blue or green - would have preferred a green version with small Yellow panels but that is not in the first batch.

Hoping my Accurascale Deltics are close to finally shipping from China - been a long wait but at least I was able to save my pennies.

I fancy the early BR green, but there is no sound option for that one. I understand their reasons for this, but still…
