Hello!
I used to have my n gauge layout in the loft and the Gaugemaster HF2 worked perfectly.
I am now building a new layout in the conservatory I have wired up the HF2 but now I get no output at the track.
I get voltage from the Hammant & Morgan Duette going into the HF2 also 16 v ac going in but nothing coming out.
Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
I was given the HF2, so if it's duff I'll just throw it away.
Cheers,
Colin

Personally I don’t like electronic track cleaners. I’d get rid of it. Just my view.

The Gaugemaster HF2 is covered by the GM lifetime warranty, so it can be repaired Free of Charge by GM if proved faulty. So that's a plus. :D

Next, the GM2 is a dual track/dual controller HF unit. You must connect the DC controller to the same set of terminal row/group as that feeds out to the rails. Consider one "row/group" as T1, T2, T3 & T4. The other "row/group" being T7, T8, T9 & T10. T5 & T6 are the 16v AC input i.e. Looking at the terminal row on the HF2 from the left T1 & T2 are rail feed output.. T3 & 4 are that tracks DC controller 1 Input... T5 & T6 are the 16v AC input. T7 & T8 are DC Controller 2 input. T9 & T10 are the rail feeds for track 2.
