Layout

Here is the layout I have in mind. Gentle critique always welcome. The track is built in SCARM using the Tilling TT-M library so possibly not completely accurate. I will await the Hornby TT:120 library to be uploaded to SCARM and do it again. All on a 7' x 3' board with R4 and R3 track on the left and R2 inside all that on the right. Not sure what happened on the right with the R2 track and the distance between the neighbours, but all will be resolved on the day. Room available regrettably prevents long sweeping curves. Top left rectangle is the signal box, top right the goods shed and the station is at the bottom. Rule 1 applies. R-

On the right I think the R3 track is too close to the R4 not the R2 is too far from the R3.
I think the layout looks fine.

Yup,, that is why I said,

Not sure what happened on the right with the R2 track and the distance between the neighbours, but all will be resolved on the day.

No matter what I did one or the other was always "out" a tad.

So you did, I misread it.

I reckon the layout is good, you can get to and from the different circuits from any direction.

lot of points Rog, how do you intend to operate them.

It will be interesting to see it all come together Roger. Shame the board can’t be a bit longer but appreciate your space constraints.

They'll be servo operated John. R-

Fifteen sets of points, nearly eclipses my layout’s sixteen motors - I’m sure others on here will have more than that!

Layout plan looks great with plenty of operational possibilities, the stubby siding off the inner loop platform opens up opportunities for traction swaps en route.

I had over 30 on my OO layout.

Yes, I have packed them in a bit. Luckily, like most point motor controllers, it is possible to operate two servos fron one port. R-
