Last few years we have put a sting of LED lights over the front window. They run off a USB supply so we will probably do it this year.

Those who put up so many lights the National Grid suffers will probably not.

We put outside lights each year. Ours are always on timers so only on for a few hours and although I have not worked it out being LEDs the cost may be a few pounds. A local garden centre was advertising a set recently and reckoned the cost over the festive season was a matter of pence which I thought was rather optimistic. Besides we have had no increase in energy costs because my current deal does not run out until August 2023.

We haven’t got a street - or Christmas lights, or street lights or any lights at all really. Bliss. R-

They have put Red Lights on the ends of our 4 wind towers. Stand out for miles. We can use as navigational aid this year. Twill save my porch lights. Otherwise, totally dark, as NO lights in our road.
